I spoke with Bruce at the mens nationals in Chicago, where he was lifting in the Supers. This was Bruce's third mens open contest, and his goal was to finish in the top 5. Unfortunately Bruce was not at the top of his form today, getting a respectable 1908 total, for 8th place.
